Sophie Hall - Founder/CEO
My name is Sophie Hall and I'm a proud Wiradjuri/Kamilaroi woman born and raised in Dubbo NSW.
I am the Founder of Yirra Coordination.
I have extensive experience working with remote and regional participants on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), supporting them to access supports and achieve their goals.
I also have the knowledge of the scheme as a mother to a son on the NDIS. The whole reason why I work in the disability sector and created Yirra Coordination.
I am well-versed in the complexities of the NDIS and understand the challenges Indigenous families face when accessing disability services.
I am driven by the urgent need to fill the gaps within the NDIS for Indigenous participants. My mission is to bridge the gap between the NDIS and those who need help the most to get the support they deserve while always respecting their and our cultural values and beliefs.
Lauren Fox - Manager of Support Coordination
Lauren Fox. A Proud Wayilwan woman.
She knows the challenges families face with navigating the NDIS as she is a mother to a child on the scheme also.
Lauren has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and her genuine care for their wellbeing shines through in everything she does.
Lauren empowers participants to take charge of their NDIS journey and achieve their goals. Her connection to her participants and and their families is phenomenal. She always ensures that her participants are receiving culturally safe and and high-quality supports to achieve their goals.
Lauren has experience in providing intensive support to participants in Regional, Remote and Very Remote regions of NSW and always finds a way for them to receive the supports they need.
Teanna Craig - Support Coordinator
Our warm and bubbly Support Coordinator based in Coonamble!
She brings passion, energy, and a deep understanding of community needs. With strong local ties and a big heart for helping mob navigate the NDIS, she's here to yarn, connect, and walk alongside participants to make sure they get the right supports in place.
Her presence in Coonamble means more culturally appropriate, face-to-face support for our participants in the area - someone who truly gets it. We're proud to be growing our team with people who care deeply and show up with heart.
